Concealment Plug Removal

1. Remove carburetor from engine and clamp in soft jawed vise with mixture adjusting screw facing upward.
2. Cover air and fuel inlets to prevent entry of foreign matter.
3. Drill a 5/64 inch pilot hole into casting at a 45° angle as shown, Fig. 14, then enlarge pilot hole to 1/8 inch.
4. Drive out concealment plug using a suitable drift, then blow out all metal chips with compressed air.
