Throttle Position Sensor: Adjustments

1. Start engine, allow to reach normal operating temperature, then shut engine off.
2. Back off adjusting screws SAS-1 and SAS-2, Fig. 11, until throttle valve is fully closed. Record number of turns screws were backed off, for later reference.
3. Connect suitable digital voltmeter between terminals 2 and 3 of TPS connector, Fig. 12.
4. Turn ignition switch On, then turn adjusting screw, Fig. 13, until TPS output voltage is 250 mV.
5. Tighten adjusting screws SAS-1 and SAS-2 the same number of turns recorded in step 2.
