Jet Mixture Control System
The jet mixture control system supplies fuel to the engine through jet mixture passages and valves, resulting in optimum air/fuel mixtures. The system is calibrated by a jet mixture solenoid which responds to electrical impulses from the ECU. If the oxygen sensor detects a lean mixture condition, the ECU energizes the solenoid at increasing duty cycles to richen the mixture. Conversely, if the oxygen sensor detects a rich mixture condition, the solenoid receives signals from the ECU at decreased duty cycles, leaning out the mixture as necessary.
