Fig. 1 Exploded view of rear axle & suspension:

1. Raise and support vehicle at side frame.
2. Remove wheel/tire assembly, then support suspension arm with suitable jack.
3. Remove upper and lower retaining nuts and bolts, then the shock absorber.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Torque retaining nuts and bolts to specifications as shown in Fig. 1.
