Carburetor Float: Adjustments

1. Invert float chamber cover.
2. Measure distance from bottom of float to surface of float chamber using suitable depth gauge. Chamber gasket should be removed during measurement.
3. Distance recorded in previous step should be .748-.826 inch.
4. If reading is not within specified range, replace shim under needle seat. A shim kit is available containing shims of .012, .016 and .020 inch thicknesses. Adding or removing a shim will change the float level by three times the thickness of the shim.
