Removal

1. Remove the front wheels as shown.





2. Remove the pad protector by prying up the clip as shown. Take care not to damage this part as it will be reused during reassembly.





3. Remove the M-clip and the K-spring from the call per assembly.





4. Discard these parts. New ones are supplied in the parts replacement kit.





5. Remove the two brake pad retaining pins.





6. Remove the inner brake pad.





7. Remove the outer brake pads and the anti-squeal shim, located between the caliper and the outer pad. Discard the pads and the anti-squeal shim.
