Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure





1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement (Service and Repair) .
2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the mass airflow (MAF)/intake air temperature (IAT) sensor.




3. Loosen the integral air cleaner housing bolts (2).
4. Remove the air cleaner housing (1) from the vehicle.



Installation Procedure





1. Install the air cleaner housing (1) to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice (Fastener Notice) .

2. Tighten the integral air cleaner housing bolts (2).

Tighten the bolts to 15 N.m (11 lb ft).





3. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the MAF/IAT sensor.
4. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement (Service and Repair) .
