Driver and/or Passenger Heated Seat Activating When Occupant Enters (Install Screw)

2006-2009 HUMMER H3
Condition
Some customers may comment that the driver and/or passenger heated seat activates without commanding it on.
Cause
The seat trim panel may be flexing, activating the switch when an occupant enters the vehicle.
Correction
1. Drill a 3 mm hole through the seat trim panel and the switch bezel. Refer to the illustration above for measurements.
2. Install the screw (M4.2 x 12.7).
Tighten
Tighten the screw to 2 Nm (18 lb in).
