Master Cylinder Replacement

Replacement Procedure

1. Using the appropriate tool, remove the brake fluid from the reservoir.




2. Remove the brake booster inlet hose (2).




3. Remove the brake booster outlet pipe (2).




4. Remove the brake master cylinder reservoir.
5. Remove the hydraulic brake booster.




6. Remove the brake pressure modulator valve (BPMV) (2) from the master cylinder.

Installation Procedure




1. Install the BPMV (2) on the master cylinder (5).
2. Install the hydraulic brake booster.




3. Install the brake master cylinder reservoir.




4. Install the brake booster inlet pipe (2).




5. Install the brake booster outlet hose (2).
