Sunroof Module Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Remove the sunroof finishing lace.




2. Lower the headliner as necessary.
3. Remove the sunroof motor.
4. Remove the sunroof sunshade.
5. Remove the sunroof glass panel.
6. Disconnect the front drain hoses from the sunroof module.
7. Disconnect the rear drain hoses from the sunroof module.
8. Remove the retaining nuts from the sunroof module rear brackets.
9. Remove the retaining bolts from the sunroof module.
10. With the aid of an assistant, remove the sunroof module assembly from the vehicle.
11. Remove the rear brackets from the sunroof module.

Installation Procedure

1. Install the rear brackets to the sunroof module.




2. Install the sunroof module assembly to the vehicle.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

3. Install the retaining bolts to the sunroof module.

Tighten the bolts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

4. Install the retaining nuts to the sunroof module rear brackets.

Tighten the nuts to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

5. Install the rear drain hoses.
6. Install the front drain hoses.
7. Synchronize the sunroof motor and module assembly. Refer to Sunroof Track Timing/Synchronization. Service and Repair
8. Install the sunroof glass panel.
9. Install the sunroof sunshade.
10. Verify proper operation of the sunroof.
11. Install the headliner.
12. Install the sunroof finishing lace.
