Transmission Support Replacement


Removal Procedure

1.Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

2.Support the transmission with a suitable stand or jack.





3.Remove the nuts retaining the transmission mount to the transmission support.

4.Raise the transmission.





5.Remove the bolts and the nuts retaining the transmission support to the frame.

6.Remove the transmission support from the frame.

Installation Procedure





1.Install the transmission support to the frame.

Notice:Refer to Fastener Notice .

Important:Ensure that the transmission support fasteners do not overlap before and after final tightening.

2.Install the bolts and the nuts in order to retain the transmission support to the frame.

TightenTighten the nuts to 95 N �m (70 lb ft).

3.Lower the transmission.





4.Align the transmission mount with the transmission support.

5.Install the nuts to the transmission mount.

TightenTighten the nuts to 40 N �m (30 lb ft).

6.Remove the stand or jack.

7.Lower the vehicle.
