Liftgate Lock Striker Replacement

Removal Procedure

1. Open the liftgate.
2. Remove the liftgate door sill plate.
3. Mark the location of the striker with a grease pencil.




4. Remove fasteners from the striker (1).

Important: Using a grease pencil, mark the strikers location prior to removal.

5. Remove the striker and shims, if equipped, from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure




1. Position the striker, to the location marks.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

2. Install the fasteners (1) to the striker.

Tighten fasteners to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

3. Install the liftgate door sill plate.
