Front Bumper: Service and Repair

Front Bumper Replacement





1.Remove the front grille guard, if equipped. Refer to Grille Guard/Brush Guard Replacement .

2.Remove the 2 lower bolts from the bumper bar.





3.Remove the 2 plugs (1) from the front fascia (2).

4.Disconnect the electrical connector to the daytime running lamps (DRL).





5.Remove the 2 upper bolts from the bumper bar.

6.Remove the front bumper assembly from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

1.Install the front bumper assembly to the vehicle.





Notice:Refer to Fastener Notice .

2.Install the 2 upper bolts to the bumper bar.

TightenTighten the bolts to 85 N �m (63 lb ft).

3.Connect the electrical connector to the DRL.





4.Install the 2 plugs (1) to the front fascia (2).





5.Install the 2 lower bolts to the bumper bar.

TightenTighten the bolts to 85 N �m (63 lb ft).

6.Install the front grille guard, if equipped. Refer to Grille Guard/Brush Guard Replacement .
