Antenna Replacement - Cellular Communications/Digital Radio

Removal Procedure






Notice: DO NOT apply paint or clear coat to the antenna. This will damage the function of the antenna, causing poor reception or loss of signal reception.

1. Remove the windshield garnish molding.
2. Remove the sunshade from the headliner.
3. Remove the lock pillar trim.

Important: Complete removal of the headliner is not required.

4. Lower the front corner of the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement.




5. Disconnect the wire harness to the roof antenna.
6. Remove the antenna fastener.
7. Remove the antenna from the roof.

Installation Procedure




1. Attach the antenna base to the roof.
2. Install the retainer and bolt to the antenna.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice.

Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).




3. Connect the electrical connector to the antenna.
4. Position the headliner back to the roof. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement.
5. Install the sunshade to the headliner.
6. Install the windshield garnish molding.
7. Install the lock pillar trim.
