EVAPORATIVE EMISSION (EVAP) HOSES/PIPES REPLACEMENT - FUEL TANK

REMOVAL PROCEDURE

CAUTION:
- Refer to Fuel and EVAP Pipe Caution in Service Precautions.
- Refer to Gasoline/Gasoline Vapors Caution in Service Precautions.

NOTE: Refer to Fuel and Evaporative Emission (EVAP) Hose/Pipe Connection Cleaning Notice in Service Precautions.

1. Remove the fuel tank.




2. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) in order to disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP) pipe (2) from the following:
- The fuel tank module
- The fuel tank vent valve
3. Disengage the EVAP pipe from the clip on the fuel tank.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE




1. Secure the EVAP pipe (2) to the clip on the fuel tank.
2. Refer to Quick Connect Fitting(s) Service (Plastic Collar) in order to connect the EVAP pipe to the following:
- The fuel tank module
- The fuel tank vent valve
3. Install the fuel tank.
