Drive Belt Tensioner: Service and Repair



Drive Belt Tensioner Replacement
Removal Procedure





1. Remove the drive belt.
2. Using a wrench, loosen and remove the drive belt tensioner bolt.
3. Remove the drive belt tensioner.

Installation Procedure





1. Position the drive belt tensioner. Ensure the alignment tab is in the proper location.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in Service Precautions.

2. Install the drive belt tensioner bolt.
Tighten the bolt to 50 Nm (37 ft. lbs.).
3. Inspect the drive belt. Replace the drive belt if necessary.
4. Install the drive belt Drive Belt Replacement (Without A/C) Drive Belt Replacement (With A/C).
