Inhibitor Solenoid Replacement




Inhibitor Solenoid Replacement

1. Remove the lower valve body Lower Valve Body Removal/Installation.

2. Disconnect the inhibitor solenoid 2P connector (A) and the ground terminal (B).





3. Remove the inhibitor solenoid (C), then remove the O-rings (D) from the inhibitor solenoid.

4. Install new O-rings on a new inhibitor solenoid, then install the inhibitor solenoid and the ground terminal.

5. Check the connector for corrosion or dirt, and clean or repair if necessary.

6. Connect the inhibitor solenoid 2P connector.

7. Install the lower valve body Lower Valve Body Removal/Installation.
