Dashboard Subdisplay Visor Removal/Installation
Special Tools Required
- KTC Trim Tool Set SOJATP2014

NOTE:
- Put on gloves to protect your hands.
- Take care not to scratch the dashboard or the related parts.
- Use the appropriate tool from the KTC trim tool set to avoid damage when removing components.
1. Remove the driver's dashboard lower cover Driver's Dashboard Lower Cover Removal/Installation.
2. Adjust the steering column to the full tilt down position and to the full telescopic out position.
3. Remove the screw.
4. Pull the back of the driver's pocket (A) or the switch panel by hand from the driver's lower cover opening to detach the clips (B) and release the hook (C).
5. Pry up the inside edge of the subdisplay visor (D) with the appropriate trim tool to detach the clip (E), and release the pin (F).
6. Detach the clips along the upper edge of the subdisplay visor (A). Gently pull out the visor to release the hooks (B).
7. For some models: Disconnect the these connectors:
- 2-Door:
- Dash light brightness control and odometer select/reset switch connector (A)
- Power mirror switch connector (B)
- 4-Door:
- Dash light brightness control and odometer select/reset switch connector (A)
- VSA OFF switch connector (B)
8. If necessary, remove the screws, then remove the dash light brightness control and odometer select/reset switch (A), and the driver's pocket (B) or the switch panel from the subdisplay visor (C).
9. Install the subdisplay visor in the reverse order of removal, and note these items:
- If the clips are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them with new ones.
- Make sure each connector is plugged in properly.
- Push the clips, the hooks, and the pin into place securely.
