Power Mirror Actuator Test

4-door

1. Remove the door panel Front Door Panel Removal/Installation (4-Door).

2. Disconnect the 3P [or 6P] connector (A).










3. Check actuator operation by connecting power and ground according to the table.





4. If the mirror fails to work properly, replace the power mirror actuator Power Mirror Actuator Replacement (4-Door).

Defogger Test (With mirror defogger)

5. Check for continuity between power mirror 6P connector terminals No. 1 and No. 3. These should be continuity.

6. If the continuity is not as specified, check for:

- An open or high resistance in the wire.
- Faulty mirror holder.
