Power Mirror Actuator Test

2-door

1. Remove the mirror mount cover Power Mirror Replacement (2-Door).

2. Disconnect the 8P connector (A).






3. Check actuator operation by connecting power and ground according to the table.





4. If the mirror fails to work properly, replace the power mirror actuator Power Mirror Actuator Replacement (2-Door).

Defogger Test (With mirror defogger)

5. Check for continuity between power mirror 8P connector terminals No. 3 and No. 4. These should be continuity.

6. If the continuity is not as specified, check for:

- An open or high resistance in the wire.
- Faulty mirror holder.
