Shift Indicator - A/T: Adjustments

CAUTION:
^ All SRS wire harnesses are covered with yellow insulation. Before you disconnect any part of an SRS wire harness, disconnect the airbag connectors.
^ Whenever the ignition switch is ON (II), or has been turned OFF for less than three minutes, be careful not to bump the SRS unit; the airbags could accidentally deploy and cause damage or injuries.





1. Check that the index mark on the indicator aligns with the N mark on the shift indicator panel when the transmission in NEUTRAL.
2. If not aligned,remove the center and rear console.
3. Remove the shift indicator panel mounting screws and adjust by moving the panel.

NOTE: Whenever the shift indicator panel is removed, reinstall the panel as described above.
