Crankshaft Fluctuation Sensor: Service and Repair

1. Remove the wheel well splash shield.




2. Loosen the adjusting bolt and mounting bolts, then remove the P/S pump belt.




3. Loosen the adjusting bolt and idler pulley bracket bolt, then remove the A/C compressor belt.




4. Loosen the lock bolt and mounting nut, then remove the alternator belt.
5. Remove the cylinder head cover.
6. Remove the crankshaft pulley.
7. Remove the middle cover and the lower cover.

NOTE:
- Do not use the middle cover and lower cover to store removed items.
- Clean the middle cover and lower cover before installation.

8. Disconnect the CKF sensor connector, then remove the CKF sensor.




9. Install the CKF sensor in the reverse order of removal.
