Shift Linkage: Service and Repair

NOTE:
- Inspect rubber parts for wear and damage when disassembling; replace any worn or damaged parts.
- Install the clip as shown.
- Turn the boot so the hole is facing down as shown.
- Make sure the boot is installed on the shift rod.
