SYMPTOM - Open/short to body ground/short to power.

DETECTION TIMING
Initial Diagnosis - yes
Except ABS Control - yes
During ABS Control - yes
During Warning - yes

PROBABLE CAUSE
- Open, short to body ground and/or short to power in the wheel sensor circuit.
- Faulty wheel sensor.
- Faulty ABS control unit.

CONDITION FOR DETECTION
The ABS indicator light comes on when vehicle is stopped and wheel sensor a given voltage does not input.

MANAGEMENT
During ABS Control - System down
Except ABS Control - System down

* If DTC's 11 through 18 (wheel sensor codes) were detected the last time the car was driven, the ABS indicator light will stay on until the ignition switch is turned on (II), and the control unit confirms that the wheel sensors are OK.
