Resonator: Description and Operation

The Intake Control System decreases air intake noise. When the Engine speed is below 4,000 rpm, the Engine Control Module (ECM) provides ground for the Intake Control Solenoid Valve. This opens the Solenoid Valve sending Intake Manifold Vacuum to the Intake Control Diaphragm.
