Door Panel/Plastic Cover Replacement
NOTE: Lower the glass fully.
1. Pry out the cap, then remove the screw. Detach the hooks by sliding it forward. Pull the inside door handle out half-way, then disconnect the rod and cable.
NOTE:
^ Take care not to snap the hooks.
^ Take care not to bend the rod and cable.
^ Take care not to scratch the inside door handle and door panel.
2. Remove the cap, then remove the screw.
Remove the clips attaching the door panel (see trim pad remover).
Remove the door panel by pulling it upward.
Disconnect the power window switch connector. If so equipped, disconnect the power mirror switch connector and power door lock switch connector (driver's).

3. Remove the door lock unit, then disconnect the connector (passenger's). Remove the front speaker, then remove the adapter.
Detach the grommets and connector clip, then carefully remove the plastic cover.
NOTE:When removing the grommets, use a clip remover.
4. Install the door panel and plastic cover in the reverse order of removal.
NOTE:
^ Make sure the door harness and connectors are fastened correctly on the door.
^ If necessary, replace any damaged clips. Make sure the connectors are connected properly.
