Resonator Control Actuator: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The Intake Control Diaphragm, mounted on top of the Air Cleaner Assembly, controls air movement through the Intake Air Resonator.

OPERATION
The Intake Control Diaphragm, when actuated by the Intake Control Solenoid, opens a flap within the Intake Air Resonator and changes the path of intake air to reduce noise.
