Fuel Tank: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The Fuel Tank, located under the rear of the vehicle between the rear wheels, houses the fuel supply, fuel gauge sending unit, and the fuel pump.

OPERATION
Fuel flows from and to the Fuel Tank via the Fuel Supply Line and the Fuel Return Line and is protected from fuel vapor expansion through the fuel vapor line.
