With 4-Wheel Steering
Refer to wiring circuits Fig. 13 when diagnosing the anti-lock brake system.
1. Turn ignition switch on and ensure anti-lock warning light comes on.
2. Start engine and check anti-lock warning light. If light goes off, there is no problem with anti-lock brake system. If light comes on, continue test.
3. Stop engine and disconnect service check connector from connector cover located under front of center console.

4. Connect both terminals of service check connector with a jumper wire, Fig. 19.

5. Turn ignition switch on and record blinking frequency of anti-lock brake system indicator light. Blinking frequency indicates diagnostic trouble code, Fig. 20
6. Refer to diagnostic code(s) chart for diagnostic trouble code diagnosis.
7. After repair is completed, disconnect anti-lock brake B2 fuse for at least three seconds to erase control unit's memory, then turn ignition switch on and recheck.
