Power Steering Pressure Switch: Description and Operation

PURPOSE
The Power Steering Pressure Switch is a pressure activated switch installed in the power steering High Pressure line.

OPERATION
It is used by the Idle Control Circuit to signal when the power steering pump is imposing a high load on the engine.
