Brake Signal: Description and Operation

NOTE: This is not applicable to Canadian vehicles.

PURPOSE

This signal is processed by the Engine Control Module (ECM) to modify idle speed and charging voltages as necessary.

OPERATION

The Brake Switch Signal is produced by application of the Brake Light Switch.
