Seat Belt Reminder Lamp: Description and Operation

With the ignition switch in RUN or START, voltage is applied to the integrated control unit and the seat belt reminder light through fuse No. 15 (10A). When you unbuckle the driver's seat belt, the integrated control unit senses ground at the RED/BLUE wire. The seat belt reminder light flashes. After five seconds, the timer contacts open, the light goes OFF, and the beeper stops.
