Ignition Coil: Service and Repair

Ignition Coil Replacement:





1. With the Ignition Switch OFF, remove the Distributor Cap and Rotor, then remove the inner cover.

NOTE: If it is necessary to replace the Rotor retaining screw, use a new screw made of a diamagnetic material.

Ignition Coil Replacement:





2. Remove the two screws to disconnect the BLACK/YELLOW and WHITE/BLUE wires from their terminals.
3. Remove the two screws and slide the Ignition Coil out of the Distributor Housing.
4. To install, reverse the procedure.
