Clearance Inspection

1. Measure the clearance between the 1st gear and thrust washer.




2. If the clearance exceeds the service limit, select the appropriate thrust washer for the correct clearance from the chart above.




3. Measure the clearance between the 2nd gear and 3rd gear.




4. If the clearance exceeds the service limit, select the appropriate spacer collar for the correct clearance from the chart above.
