Throttle Valve Cable/Linkage: Adjustments

Before adjusting the throttle control cable ensure engine is at normal operating temperature, cable free play and idle speed are correct.

1. Verify throttle linkage is in full closed position.
2. Loosen locknut of throttle control cable at throttle linkage.
3. Remove free play of throttle control cable with locknut, while pushing throttle control lever to full closed position, Fig. 9.
4. Tighten locknuts, then inspect synchronization and throttle control lever movement.
