Circuit Operation

The vehicle speed sensor (VSS) generates a signal that indicates the speed of the car and applies it to the main gauge assembly, cruise control unit, transmission control module (TCM), 4WS control unit, and engine control module (ECM). The signal is used by each unit to perform the necessary functions required by each circuit.
