Fuel Pump: Specifications

WARNING: Do not smoke while working on the fuel system. Keep open flames or sparks away from the work area. Be sure to relieve fuel pressure while the engine is OFF.

Vacuum hose of the fuel pressure regulator disconnected.

PRESSURE AT IDLE SHOULD BE:
2.2L SOHC (S Model)
2.3L DOHC (USA: Si/CANADA: SR)
36 - 43 psi (2.55 - 3.05 kg / cm2)

2.2L DOHC (USA: Si VTEC/CANADA: SR-V)
33 - 40 psi (2.3 - 2.8 kg / cm2)

Reconnect the vacuum hose to the fuel pressure regulator.

PRESSURE AT IDLE SHOULD BE:
2.2L SOHC (S Model)
2.3L DOHC (USA: Si/CANADA: SR)
28-35 psi (1.95 - 2.45 kg / cm2)

2.2L DOHC (USA: Si VTEC/CANADA: SR-V)
24 - 31 psi (1.7 - 2.2 kg / cm2)
