Seat Belt Reminder

With the ignition switch in ON (II) or START (III), voltage is applied to the seat belt reminder light, and the light goes on. When you unbuckle the driver's seat belt, the integrated control unit senses ground at the RED/BLU wire and sounds the beeper for five seconds. The RED/BLU wire also provides a ground signal to the indicator light which remains on until the ground is removed by buckling the seat belt.

Ignition Key-on Reminder

When you turn on the ignition switch, ground is provided at the BLU/WHT wire of the integrated control unit. When you open the driver's door, ground is provided at the GRN/BLU wire of the integrated control unit, and the beeper sounds.

Lights-on Reminder

Voltage is applied through the headlight switch and the RED/BLK wire to the integrated control unit. When you open the driver's door, the integrated control unit senses ground at the GRN/BLU wire of C523, and if voltage is present at fuse 13, the lights-on chime module will sound.
