Overhaul

Heater Unit Overhaul:

1. Remove the heater unit, refer to Heating and Air Conditioning/Heater Core Case/Service and Repair.
2. Remove the three screws and defroster duct.
3. Remove the screw and pipe clamp.
4. Remove the screw and core clamp.
5. Pull the heater core from the heater unit.

NOTE: Be careful not to bend the inlet and outlet pipes during heater core removal.

6. Install in the reverse order of removal, and:
- Loosen the bleed bolt on the engine, and refill the radiator and reservoir tank with the proper engine coolant mixture. Tighten the bleed bolt when all the trapped air has escaped and engine coolant begins to flow from it.
