Water Pump: Service and Repair

When refilling cooling system, bleed cooling system to let out any trapped air.

1. Drain cooling system into suitable container.
2. Remove timing belt as outlined under Timing Belt.

Water Pump Installation:

3. Remove water pump attaching bolts, then the water pump, Fig. 71.
4. Reverse procedure to install. Tighten water pump attaching bolts to specifications.
