EGR Valve Position Sensor: Testing and Inspection

The Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) system is monitored and controlled by the Engine Control Module (ECM). Improper operation of the system should set Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) 12. Refer to testing procedures under Diagnostic Charts/Trouble Code Charts.
