Turn Signal Switch: Testing and Inspection

CAUTION: All SRS electrical wiring harnesses are covered with yellow outer insulation. Before disconnecting the SRS wire harness. install the short connector on the airbag. Replace the entire affected SRS harness assembly if it has an open circuit or damaged wiring.

1. Remove the dashboard lower cover and steering column covers as shown on the previous page.
2. Disconnect the 4-P connector and 7-P connectors from the switch.
3. Check for continuity between the terminals in each switch position according to the table.
