Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Testing and Inspection

A/C Thermostat Testing:

Dip the [1][2]A/C thermostat into a cup filled with ice water, and check for continuity between the terminals.

Cut off 35-31° F (1.5 to -O.5°C)
Cut in 36-41°F (2.5-5°C)


If cut off or cut in temperature is too low or too high, replace the [1][2]A/C thermostat.
