Side Defroster:

CRX Side Defroster SealPROBLEM

The side defroster seal falls off.

CORRECTIVE ACTION

1. Remove the side defroster vent by carefully prying it up from the back with a thin-bladed screwdriver.

Top and Inboard Tabs:

2. Fit the bent top and inboard tabs of the seal into the door panel.

Push back duct and bend tabs over with screwdriver.:

3. While holding the seal in place, reach in through the top of the door panel and push the vent's ducting to one side. Then bend the bottom and outboard tabs of the seal over with the screwdriver to fully secure the seal in place.
