Condenser Fan Operation

When ignition switch is in On position, system voltage is applied to dual pressure switch through heater fuse on vehicles equipped w/automatic transaxle, or ignition fuse on vehicles equipped w/manual transaxle. Dual pressure switch remains closed as long as refrigerant pressure is between 30-383 psi on 1995 models. With dual pressure switch closed, voltage is applied to A/C clutch relay. A/C clutch relay is energized when A/C amplifier grounds coil of relay. With A/C clutch relay energized, voltage is applied through A/C fuse and closed contacts of A/C clutch relay to coil of A/C condenser fan relay. Since A/C condenser fan relay is permanently grounded, relay energizes, contacts close, and voltage is applied to condenser fan. Since condenser fan is permanently grounded, an operates as soon voltage is applied.
