Rear Crankshaft Main Bearing Seal: Service and Repair

1. Remove transaxle as described under TRANSMISSIONS CLUTCHES DIFFERENTIALS AXLES AND DRIVE SHAFTS/MANUAL TRANSAXLE/COMPONENT REPLACEMENT AND REPAIR PROCEDURES/TRANSAXLE.
2. On models with manual transaxle, remove pressure plate and clutch disc.
3. On all models, remove flywheel.
4. Remove seal retainer, then remove seal from retainer.
5. Reverse procedure to install.
