Ignition Coil: Service and Repair

REMOVAL
- Disconnect the negative battery cable.
- Disconnect coil to distributor lead at the coil.
- Remove ignition coil electrical connector.
- Remove the two bolts, ground strap and ignition coil from mounting bracket.

DISCONNECT
- Install two bolts, ground strap and ignition coil.
- Tighten mounting bolts to 20 Nm (15 ft lb).
- Install coil electrical connector.
- Install coil to distributor lead at the coil.
- Connect negative battery cable.
