1 Heat up both tapered roller bearings to approx. 80 °C
2 Drive on tapered roller bearing (2) as far as the end stop using a suitable drift (1).
3 Check contact of tapered roller bearings on differential case using a feeler gauge (thickness 0.05).

The tapered roller bearings must be flush.
