Rear






REAR

CAUTION: Do not allow the wiper arm to spring back against the glass without the wiper blade in place or the glass may be damaged.

CAUTION: Do not rest the rear wiper arms on the rear door glass without the wiper blades in place or the glass may become scratched.

CAUTION: The use of a screwdriver or other prying tool to remove a wiper arm may distort it. This distortion could allow the arm to come off of the rear wiper motor output shaft during wiper operation, regardless of how carefully it is reinstalled.





1. Unsnap and raise the cover (5) over the rear wiper arm (1) pivot end on the rear door (2).
2. Unsnap the washer nozzle hose connector (3) from the fitting in the center of the rear wiper motor output shaft.
3. Remove the nut (4) that secures the wiper arm to the wiper motor output shaft.





4. If necessary, use a suitable battery terminal puller (3) to disengage the wiper arm (1) from the output shaft (2).
5. Use a slight rocking action to disengage the rear wiper arm pivot end from the output shaft and remove the wiper arm.
