Front Windshield Washer Pump - Installation

1. Lift the washer reservoir upward far enough to access and install the front washer pump/motor unit (2) onto the inboard side of the reservoir.
2. Install a new rubber grommet seal/filter screen into the front washer pump/motor unit mounting hole in the washer reservoir (1). Always use a new rubber grommet seal on the reservoir.
3. Position the inlet nipple of the front washer pump/motor unit to the rubber grommet seal/filter screen in the reservoir.
4. Using hand pressure, press firmly and evenly downward on the washer pump/motor unit until the inlet nipple is fully seated in the rubber grommet seal/filter screen in the pump mounting hole of the reservoir.
5. Reconnect the front washer hose to the barbed outlet nipple of the washer pump.
6. Reconnect the vehicle wire harness connector to the connector receptacle on the top of the pump motor.
7. Position the washer reservoir mounting holes to the bracket on the top of the left front fender inner wheel house.
8. Install and tighten the two screws that secures the washer reservoir to the bracket. Tighten the screws securely.
9. Refill the washer reservoir with the washer fluid drained during removal.
10. Reconnect the battery negative cable.
